Okay third day of the London experience. I don't know that I will ever remember any of this. Blurry memory...
We had class. I almost fell asleep several times.
We went to the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum) and basically just went to the fashion exhibit and then went back to the flat for lunch (I had a BLT minus the T and a Cadburry mousse thingy). After a bit of time we then headed to Kensington where we were going to go to the Rose for 11 & 12 directed by the really famous Peter Brook. We got there early and went to Primark (they sell really cheap trendy clothes) and got fish and chips for dinner. Then it was the Rose for 11 & 12, I traded a seat ticket for a space on the floor in front of the stage since I do like sitting on the floor (and know how to do it without it resulting in pain) and I like being close to the stage. And I figured there had to be somebody who would benefit from a real seat more than me anyway. I took notes on the play (since they requested that we do...eh) but I'm not going to transcribe them...that would be boring. I'd do an interpretive dance describing it but that would be weird. Suffice to say Peter Brook's kind of a big deal. I think a lot of his techniques and such are used by so many people now that it doesn't seem so inovative. There was minimal set, simple costumes, actors who played multiple roles.... Everything was a choice, that was easy to see.
